Listener / Counsellor Consent & Code of Conduct

• Listen with empathy, respect, and without judgment.
• Maintain complete confidentiality, except where disclosure is required by law or in situations involving immediate risk of harm.
• Maintain professional boundaries and not exchange personal contact details, meet clients outside the platform, or develop personal relationships.
• Work only within my role and not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice unless professionally qualified and authorized by Aapka Confidant.
• Immediately report any concerns relating to suicide, self-harm, harm to others, or abuse, following the organization's escalation procedures.
• Treat every individual with dignity, regardless of their background, beliefs, gender, religion, caste, culture, disability, age, or sexual orientation.
• Protect all client information and use it only for official purposes.
• Follow all Aapka Confidant policies, ethical standards, and training guidelines.
